Both Comrade and Amy Howson regularly sail the River Humber on Saturdays and Sundays through the summer months. The ships are based at South Ferriby in Lincolnshire, and a day’s sailing can also take in the Trent or the Ouse. Sailing times vary because of the tides, but generally depart around eight thirty in the morning, returning mid/late afternoon.

Crewed by HKSPS members, both ships can carry up to twelve passengers, with seating in the well deck. As well as a small exhibition of our archive material, each ship has a toilet, basic self catering galley facilities, lifejackets & 2 ten man life rafts. The sailing calendar for the year is available from January, and bookings from individuals or groups are very welcome.

Both our ships can also be made available to attend events along the inland waterways as far up as York, Leeds, Sheffield, Lincoln & Newark. Contact the numbers below for availability & fee.
