Annual General Meeting

     Notice is hereby given that the Thirty Third Annual General Meeting of the Humber Keel & Sloop Preservation Society Limited will be held at the Sailmakers Arms, High Street, Hull at 2.30 pm on Saturday, 23rd February, 2008 for the following purposes:  

 1. Hear or read the Notice of the Meeting.

 2. To receive, and if thought fit approve, the Minutes of the Thirty Second Annual General Meeting.

 3. To receive, and if thought fit approve, the Income and Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet for the Year        ending 30th September 2007.

 4. To receive, and if thought fit approve, the Report of the Councilof Management for the year ending 30th          September 2007.                   

 5. To consider, and if fit approve, the establishment of Life Membership.

 6. To appoint Auditors.

 7. To appoint Council Members in place of those retiring or resigning.

 8. To discuss, after formal business, the Society’s activities and policy.

Notes

1. Messrs I Jones, D Parker, M Robinson, J Thompson retire from the Council by rotation and are eligible for re-election.

2. Nominations for membership of the Council should be received by the Secretary at least seven days before the Meeting. They should be in writing and accompanied by a statement indicating the candidates willingness to serve.

After the Meeting, there will be an illustrated talk by Capt. P.J. Cowing, (Humber Harbour Master).
